Summer Crews
PATC Seasonal Crews PDF Print E-mail
The PATC sponsors 10 weeks of summer crews.  Six weeks are coordinated with the National Park Service and are scheduled in Shenandoah National Park (two weeks in each trail district).  Four weeks are coordinated with the USDA National Forest Service and take place in the George Washington National Forest.  Volunteers learn trail skills from the professionals in the Parks and Forests, and spend the week enjoying the comradery of other crew members.  All meals and accommodations are covered by the PATC and its partners.

Schedules for the summers crews are posted on the on-line calendar and on this page.  Applications are available on the Docs section of the website (or linked to the articles below).

2010 Massarock Trail Crew Volunteers Needed PDF Print E-mail

The 2010 Massarock season runs two weeks in June, and two weeks in September.

Massarock Crew Completes 20th Year PDF Print E-mail
The 2009 Massarock Crews finished trail construction on Roaring Run in the Catherine Furnace area of the Massanuttens and began construction of a new trail to Church Rock on Great North Mountain which will be continued in 2010.
