Trail Maintainers Needed PDF Print E-mail

ImagePATC Trail Overseers deserve all of the credit for the high regard that the organization enjoys among trail users in the Mid-Atlantic region. The club is always in need of additional volunteers to fill the ranks of the hundreds of trail maintainers that are required to maintain such a large network of hiking paths

PATC trails are organized by geographic district.  Each region is managed by a District Manager who recruits, trains, and assists the volunteers in his or her district.

If you're interested in maintaining PATC trails, visit the Trails Districts page and use the right-hand menu to learn more about the district of interest to you.  Each page includes contact information, and general info about the district.

Want to get involved at the PATC HQ? PDF Print E-mail

Want to get involved at the PATC HQ?

For daytime office work see Trails Coordinator Volunteers or Membership Volunteers below.

A lot of PATC’s success is dependent on each member taking the initiative in performing one or more of the various jobs at our Headquarters. For those of you who have two hours a month to spare into your schedule, we would like to invite you to consider investing this time on the headquarters sales or information desk. You will meet members and potential members with the same interests and passions in the great outdoors, help them by giving information about local trails, or process purchases from our PATC store.

The Information Desk has a binder that gives answers to all kinds of questions that have been asked for the past decade, and the Sales Desk has written directions for processing sales requests.  Bill Ryan is the chair for evening office volunteers when the office is open 7-9 pm. and is always willing to walk you through the paces. For further information contact him at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or by telephone at 703-425-3248.
